Alright, n00btacular question:

Letapos;s say I open a simple scheme file (foo.scm) in emacs (gnu emacs 21.3.1. Yes, itapos;s ancient.) Emacs recognizes that it is scheme and goes into scheme mode. Good. So I do some editing and whatnot, and then I want to execute it. Right there. Right from the buffer. Can I do so?

Now, I can do "M-x run-scheme" and get an interactive guile prompt, but thatapos;s not what I want.

For elisp, I can just do C-M-x and it obeys. Not so, apparently, for scheme. Iapos;m not surprised that there would be a different keybinding, but Iapos;m not sure what it would be.
